If you are anything like me, you are a creature of comfort. I love routine, familiarity and knowing exactly what is coming next. Although it’s nice to have some structure, some of these attachments can be your downfall. Whether it’s a junk food habit, technology addiction or a weakness for not-so-nice people, some of our regular patterns can be toxic. While most of the time we can recognise when something is not good for us, we think it takes too much effort to turn around our old ways and we keep reverting back to our comfort zone, no matter the consequences.
