Little adjustments to your lifestyle can have a huge impact on your appearance, health, persona and general outlook on life. Taking time to exercise can be the minor adjustment your body is craving! I aim to do my workout at sunrise every day. Nothing feels better than to start the day knowing you have a big tick beside that first item on your "to do" list. Your blood will be flowing, your skin will be glowing, energy levels will have risen and your mindset will be refreshed! You'll be ready for your day! It's my "me time" and for thirty minutes, before anyone else is up, I start my day the best way possible. Small adjustments like getting up thirty minutes earlier, limiting sugar and processed foods we eat or simply taking your dog for a walk, will make an enormous difference to how you look and feel. Have you noticed any changes since starting your Pilates workouts? I can remember one of the very first changes I ever noticed was one day I was in the supermarket pushing my trolley. I felt "taller" and noticed that as I was walking I was actually engaging my core muscles without even thinking about it! I felt great! My posture was improved and I even felt like I was thinking clearer! Others I have spoken to have have said the first thing they noticed was extra room in their clothes, while some find others noticed differences about them and asked what they had been doing because they wanted to get on board! It has truly been a week to remember in my lifetime! We have announced our plans to take Pilates by Lisa on the road. We are packing our cameras, lights and tripods to film workouts for our members from some of the most iconic places on the planet. Each week your new workout will be coming from the Caribbean, New York, Yosemite Park and beyond. I am excited to take everyone along on the journey, to share my travels and to workout with you all in some fun and famous settings!  Meanwhile, the weather has certainly changed this week, and the chill in the air, whilst refreshing after a long, hot summer, can be a deterrent to exercise. Keep up your good work! Summer bodies are made in Winter! As I sit here at my desk listening to the rain pelting against my windows, I smile to myself, knowing that, as members, no-one needs to leave home to get their daily exercise. No battling the elements, no running for shelter or venturing out in the dark! Working out from the convenience of home certainly does have its advantages! It also reminded me of a quote I read recently form Joseph Pilates. It read "As a heavy rainstorm freshens the water of a sluggish or stagnant stream and whips it into immediate action, so does the Pilates Methods purify the bloodstream."
